The latest heiresses, Nicky and Paris, besides sharing the inheritance, have similar tastes, since in their respective weddings they used similar wedding dresses inspired by the one used by their mother in 1979.

Nicky Hilton’s wedding gown was custom-made for her, featuring a high-neck design, long sleeves and a fitted bodice that transitioned into a ball gown skirt with a 10-foot-long train. According to Vogue magazine, the dress also featured three shades of ivory and silver guipure embellished with hand-embroidered crystals.

Although married in different years, the Hilton sisters, Nicky and Paris, wore similar dresses. Both with a high neckline, long sleeves and a long veil that reminded many of the wedding day of their mother, Kathy Hilton, who married in a similar dress, although without the floral design that her daughters put on their respective wedding attire.

Another difference in their dresses was that Kathy Hilton used a flower crown to accompany her long veil. Although she kept her wedding private, there is no doubt that the dress she wore at her wedding stole all the attention at the time and inspired other women to design their wedding dresses.

Her dress was reminiscent of the one her sister Nicky wore to get married in 2015. The difference was that Paris turned to Oscar de la Renta for the elaboration of her design, while Nicky chose a Valentino dress. The Hilton sisters surely took inspiration from their mother, Kathy, for their choice of wedding dress, as she wore a similar one when she married Richard Hilton.
