What a personal assistant does at a wedding?

A personal attendant is usually available for four to five hours prior to the wedding and finishes his or her work just before the cocktail hour. What tasks a personal assistant does not do?

The personal assistant focuses on the bride and groom, parents of the couple and members of the wedding party, so they are not responsible for tasks related to the wedding itself, such as preparing invitation cards, coordinating flowers, catering or event production. However, if during the wedding there is a task that this person can perform, he/she can certainly help.

Who hires the personal assistant

Usually the couple or one of the bride and groom usually hires their own personal assistant, although older relatives, such as a mother or aunt, also often hire their services for the couple getting married. Likewise, there are cases where the groom, as a birthday or bridal shower gift, gives the personal assistant package as a gift.

The personal assistant can also be a friend or family member, as there are couples who invite someone close to them to help them on the wedding day, besides, being a person from the couple’s circle, there will be more confidence and their work will be easier to develop, in addition, the bride and groom will surely be more comfortable with their presence.
